Her whole body was aching.

Ice slowly opened her eyes and for a moment wondered where she was. Then she realised she was back at their apartment and in her own bedroom. Slowly she started to sit up then made a quick grab for the covers at the realisation that she wasn’t wearing anything other than her panties. She clutched at the sheets and looked around the semi dark room and froze when she saw Raphael sitting on her settee across the room. To her relief, he was asleep. She wondered how long he’d been there. Had he been watching over her all night?

Mike walked into the hallway with a smile on his face. He was glad Leo was happy. His brother deserved it. And heaven help them all, so did Raph. Mike could tell his less than subtle brother really liked Ice, even if he expressed it in his usual bull in a china shop way. He wondered if Ice was up for the challenge.

“Normally I don’t let Raph get to me, but this time…” Don sucked in his breath as the small blonde gently took his hand and placed an ice pack on it. “He pushed all the right buttons.”

Ice rolled her eyes. “When doesn’t he push all the right buttons? I tell you the boy’s got talent. You’ve got some patience Don.”

Don smiled. “Oh I’m not that patient.”
